Council action: No action
Discussion of finance concerning Veteran’s Memorial River Park. It was decided that Park Board Members need to shore up numbers in a spread sheet format in order to better understand
1. Financing other than city, finances from city.
2. Expenses to date.
3. What is yet needed to complete.
Zierke and Solga along with city office will reconcile numbers.
Irey will check into possibilities for grass donation to park.
Electrical in Sherin Park. At this point Park Board has talked to Art in the Park about moving electrical options in park. Art in the Park is trying to come up with other arrangements concerning the camping during event.
Garbage dumpster - concerns are space and how Ballards can get to the dumpster (by library). Olson to check with area business to see if ownership of dumpster can be a possibility given business is allowed usage.
Irey will put article in Press regarding Veteran’s Memorial River Park with information for anybody who may be interested in donating to the Park project.
Historic City Hall houses Chamber public restrooms and Tourist Information Center. Chamber is to employ person at front desk. They as of now cannot afford to staff all the hours they wanted to, but are trying to keep as many hours as they can.
Discussion on Chamber Association Membership and how to raise more interest in people and organizations to become Associate Members. Irey will talk to Scott Richardson.
Flower Pots – Irey has heard complaints. Discussion on set-up, maintenance & location. Maybe replace a couple.
